Downloading videos from websites can often be complicated, as some require plugins or extra files. However, with Google Chrome, you can easily download videos with just a few simple clicks!
Steps
- Step 1 – Open the website that contains the video you’d like to download. Rightclick on the video file, and select ‘Inspect’. The ‘Inspect’ window will open, showing the code of the page you’re currently on.
- Step 2 – Mouse over the highlighted code, and find the file URL. This is a link to the video file itself. You’ll want to copy that URL and open it in Google Chrome.
- Step 3 – Open the URL of the video file in a new tab, and type in your desired video filename. With the filename in place, press enter and the video should start playing. Rightclick on the video and select ‘Save video as’.
- Step 4 – Choose the location where you’d like to save the file, then press ‘Save’.
